September 30, 2025 – Team AoA from the College of Information and Communication Technology (CICT) of the South East Asian Institute of Technology (SEAIT) was hailed as champion during the Philippine Startup Challenge X Region XII South Cotabato Pitching Competition held at SMC Hall, Notre Dame of Marbel University.

The team includes Frank Leimbergh D. Armodia, Liezl Jane G. Arreglado, and Kathleen Nicole Oliva, with Kenmark T. Celisas as mentor and Reginald S. Prudente, MIT, as Dean.

The team successfully pitched SIBLO—an AI-powered, RPG-based system for academic performance and career analytics. It transforms classrooms into adventure worlds where students train, evolve, and collect creatures called siblons by earning quiz points. By blending academic progression with gameplay, SIBLO turns learning into growth, teamwork, and discovery.

The Team AoA will represent South Cotabato at the Regional Pitching Competition—bringing innovation to the next level.

Meanwhile, Team glickED: Gonzalo Chuan, Apple L. Donato, and Joel E. Jr. Elanga, took third place with their “Guiding Learners into Connected Knowledge for Education”—a teacher-first mobile application that makes every classroom interaction inclusive and engaging for all learners.

This achievement supports the institution's goal of providing quality education through the latest innovations.
