PhilHealth Caravan Offers Free Surgical Care for SEAIT
On October 22–23, in coordination with Tamayo Diagnostic Laboratory, the South East Asian Institute of Technology (SEAIT) conducted a PhilHealth Caravan at the Audio-Visual Room (AVR). The event offered free surgical care to individuals seeking medical attention and promoted universal health care access.
The caravan provided PhilHealth registration with free membership, free consultations, free laboratory services, and free medications.
Meanwhile, the free surgical consultations catered to cases involving hernia, hemorrhoids, gallstones, and neck, breast, and other body bumps or lumps. Dr. Jeffrey S. Tamayo, School Physician, was present to assess, consult, and assist patients.
Through this initiative, SEAIT and its partners continue to advocate for equitable and accessible health care, reinforcing the importance of preventive care and ensuring access to essential medical services at no cost.
